The College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts, has been a SimpsonScarborough client since November 2006. We worked with College to develop of a national marketing plan. We also conducted a comprehensive communications analysis, did extensive research with alumni, and provided media training to the President and senior executives. We continue to work with the College to provide on-going training and support for new public and media relations staff members. In the first six months of our work on media relations, the College placed 422 print media appearances totaling 148,227 words specific to Holy Cross, and 38 radio/television appearances. The combined impact of the print circulation was 214,260,350 paid subscribers. Within this mix, 22 were national stories including USA Today features, Newsweek stories, a Business Week profile, and 10 Associate Press stories distributed nationwide.

“SimpsonScarborough is on the cutting edge of the newest technologies and they challenged us to do the best survey construction possible. They brought us down to Earth when our expectations exceeded our budget, resources, and timeframe. And, they developed our understanding of how good research informs good marketing.”
- Ellen Ryder, Director, Office of Public Affairs
