In that role, Ms. Porcelli worked across the Council’s administrative disciplines, spanning finance, human resources, facility management and information technology among other functions, and liaised with cross-sections of management and staff to identify optimal tools with which to conduct Council business. Her project management expertise ensured new systems and business tools were implemented and refined to maximize utility. During her tenure at the American Council on Education, Ms. Porcelli also managed financial and administrative aspects of a major grant from the United States Agency for International Development, and researched and wrote publications and monographs on credit recognition of overseas study. Prior to joining the Council, Ms. Porcelli held a sales position in the Hilton Hotels Corporation. Ms. Porcelli earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and French from Guilford College and a master’s degree in nonprofit association management from Trinity University. She remains active with her undergraduate alma mater having served on the alumni board and co-founded a local alumni chapter. CONTACT INFORMATION: |

Maura Porcelli, Director of Business Operations, oversees SimpsonScarborough’s day-to-day business operations, coordinating financial management, human resources and long-range business development planning. She counts considerable experience in organizational management and operations as former Business Manager in the Office of the Senior Vice President of Business & Operations at the American Council on Education where she was a member of the strategic planning team.
