God That Was Fun!

Maybe it is a sign of age, but the last five days was such a fun time and there were no illegal drugs involved! Started the weekend in Boston with a Forum for Higher Education Marketing meeting. Northeastern and Kerry Salerno was kind enough to set up a meeting space for us. The topic was focused on Social Media and I learned a great deal from my colleagues.
The Symposium went by so quickly. Starting off with a tour of Harvard from Ed Sevilla. Gave a tutorial on Sunday afternoon and it was off to the races! I went to every session of every day and there was a lot of great material to be learned. Standouts for me was Pat Freeland-Small's presentation on the Dream Large campaign at University of Melbourne and Mary Stagaman (University of Cincinnati) and Tom Abrahamson's (Lipman Hearne) on Using Dashboard Measurements.
Thanks to my business partner and friend, Elizabeth Scarborough, I felt like a rock star the whole five days in Boston. I received a lot of congratulations for founding the Symposium and came home excited but humbled. A lot of people have been part of the Symposium over the years and I was happy to share the stage with two of the originals, Bob Johnson and Carole Custer.
A lot of credit goes to this years committee...Elizabeth Scarborough as Chair,  Crista Cabe, Carole Custer, Ty Glasgow, Rob Moore, Heather Swain and Scott Timmons. A special thanks goes out to Lynn Brown who has made the AMA a pleasure to work with again!
