Deb Gere, Research Analyst, has extensive experience conducting marketing research for colleges and universities. For eight years, she served as a project coordinator and research analyst for Boston-based Carnegie Communications, where she specialized in the use of geodemographic analysis to target enrollment efforts and alumni outreach. During her time at Carnegie, Ms. Gere worked with more than 100 institutions—large, small, public, and private—on qualitative and quantitative research projects ranging from focus groups and surveys to institutional branding studies.
Her past experience also includes work in communications and publications for the nonprofit May Institute, where she collaborated with marketing staff to design brochures, flyers, and other collateral.
Ms. Gere has a B.A. in English literature and writing from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
When she is not working, Ms. Gere can frequently be found learning how to correctly pronounce the names of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, courtesy of future paleontologist Nathan, 5, and his 3-year-old brother, Evan. She enjoys sewing and quilting and has developed a small sewing machine obsession that she is currently trying to get under control.
