Meredith Simpson

Meredith Simpson Bio PhotoMeredith Simpson, Project Director, manages marketing and branding projects and oversees the research and statistical analysis for all SimpsonScarborough projects. She has extensive experience applying research methodology to marketing and branding projects with a keen interest in finding analytical trends in quantitative datasets. Her work includes extensive studies of higher education audiences including faculty, staff, students, prospective students, parents, prospective student influencers, alumni, donors, and business and opinion leaders.

Ms. Simpson is responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating internal and external resources to meet research project goals and objectives. She manages both qualitative and quantitative research, marketing analyses and client services. Specifically, Ms. Simpson can apply the proper research methodology to match intended outcomes, database content and the preferred response formats for varied audiences.

Her expertise lies in sophisticated statistical analysis, survey design, data collection management, and report preparation. With an ability to take a common set and find both ordinary and unique statistical relationships, Ms. Simpson’s analyses help direct the messaging of a branding project to ensure maximum resonation.

She has performed analyses on a number of research projects including Michigan State University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Gustavus Adolphus College; and she provided insight on research instruments for institutions as varied as Loyola College of Maryland and Western Michigan University. Ms. Simpson has also served as project manager for clients such as American University.

Ms. Simpson earned a bachelor of science in business administration with concentrations in marketing and finance from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond.
