Senior Marketing Team (SMT)
This team is usually led by the university’s top administrators to ensure that there is a common institutional direction and that the positioning, BrandPrint™ and any subsequent marketing plans support the university’s mission, vision and values. The mission of this team is to set the broad long-term branding and marketing direction, goals and objectives, and to resolve budgetary issues and approve all marketing plans. This team ensures essential support from the highest levels of the administration.
Marketing Implementation Team (MIT)
This team is co-led by a designate of the university - ideally the campus communications/marketing leader - and the lead project consultant. The team is comprised of key marketing staff members or others significantly involved in internal and external communications. This team provides strategic and tactical counsel on the project, including the image and branding research, the BrandPrint™ development, and creation of an Integrated Marketing Plan.
