Depth Interviews, like focus groups, are a form of qualitative research. They are commonly used as an alternative to focus groups when gathering enough members of the target audience at the same time is difficult. This difficulty is often encountered when an institution wants to gather the attitudes and opinions of teachers, guidance counselors, business leaders, legislators or members of the media. SimpsonScarborough uses highly-trained executive interviewers to conduct depth interviews.
