The Bulldogs want an updated website? We were like a dog with a bone.
Our relationship with Butler University dates back almost 10 years to when we first worked with them to create their brand platform—The right outcomes. The right way. From updating and extending the master brand to strategizing and branding their live mascot program, we’ve been fortunate to call them a partner. So, when one of our all-time favorite clients reached out to us to help design and develop a website that had become all-too familiar, we combined our in-depth knowledge of the university and our digital expertise to help increase awareness of and affinity for the Bulldogs, as well as to advance the many benefits of a Butler education to prospective students.
Our strategy and brand platform continue to serve Butler well. Over time, though, creative tastes change, as does the experience visitors expect. Our work with Butler on their main .edu sought to better align their digital presence to their strategic goals and their story. We went further, providing innovative content concepts that serve as the foundation of the user experience and add a distinctive layer to the site.
Scope of Work
Website content strategy, wireframes, an outline of data structures for mapping, and more than 30 pages of content creation
Brand exploration, including 2 creative concepts, each with 5 individual page types (desktop and mobile formats), design and copywriting, analytics, conversion rate optimization, pattern library, and media asset selection, utilizing Butler’s existing photos and videos
Build out of the final layouts in the new WordPress CMS, digital style guide, including detailed instructions for templates, layouts, color breakdown, and typography, and both training and technical documentation
